Our teams

By virtue of Andover’s location, at the centre of the north-east – south-west line that connects Basingstoke and Salisbury, our teams are able to play in no fewer than three leagues run by bowling associations to which we affiliate: Salisbury & District; Whitchurch & District; and Basingstoke and District.

This gives our members a wide variety of choice as regards where, and when, they want to play their bowls. Before the start of each season, at the Spring Meeting when membership is renewed for the coming year, members receive a form asking them which leagues they’d like to play in.

The sub-pages under this heading detail each league in which we participate with some basic information including which of our teams plays in which league, the broad format in which the league takes place and the days when matches are played.
