Presentation evening 2024
The final event in the Club's calendar was the presentation evening, held on Saturday 12 October at the Wolversdene Club.
The evening took place to honour the Club's Trophy winners and runners-up, and present them with certificates and trophies; while a special moment in the evening honoured Roy Turner, star of this week's Advertiser, on his 50 years as a member of the club. Roy, who freely shares his knowledge and experience with those new to bowls, will have the Novices Trophy named after him: a unique way of recognising his continuing contribution to the life and success of the club. Congratulations Roy!
