Friendlies

In addition to our teams, the Club also plays friendly matches (both home and away) with a selection of other bowling clubs largely from the wider area: matches are fixed well in advance and calls for participation extend right across the Club, with sign-up available in the Clubhouse.

Bowlers of all abilities and experience are welcome to play in the friendlies; but joining in is a good way for new bowlers to taste match competition in a relaxed, friendly (it does what it says on the tin!) and relatively non-competitive environment.

The friendlies that have been arranged for 2025 are now confirmed and are as follows.

Sun 11 May, 2.30: Hungerford v Andover (5MT)

Sun 18 May, 2.30: Kintbury v Andover (4MT)

Sun 22 Jun, 3.00: Andover v Newbury (4MT)

Wed 25 Jun County friendly (Hants and Wilts Ladies)

Sun 27 Jul, 2.30: St. Mary Bourne v Andover (6MT)

Sun 17 Aug, 2.00 Andover v Devizes (6MT)

Sun 14 Sep 2.00 Andover v Parkside (4MT)

The Parkside friendly is the traditional end of season closure, giving members one last chance to play the green before it closes for the winter maintenance programme
